Sandra Popovic, a 58-year-old mother from western Sydney, is feared dead after allegedly being murdered by her estranged son Ante Ivan Popovic following a meeting at a Winston Hills park on Monday afternoon. Police believe the pair argued about money before Sandra was possibly stabbed, kidnapped and driven in her son's white Toyota Hilux to an area beyond the Blue Mountains. Ante Ivan Popovic was arrested near his South Coast home with blood in his vehicle and his mother's mobile phone, while police continue searching a 100-kilometre stretch of bushland from Winston Hills to Lithgow for Sandra's body.
