Human remains believed to be those of 71-year-old grandmother Nadire Sensoy have been discovered in a shallow grave beside Blacktown Creek at Seven Hills, nearly eight years after her disappearance. Her son Selim, who has been in custody since 2023, is suspected of her murder in what police describe as a domestic violence-related case. The remains were found just two metres outside the planned search area after detectives decided to extend their excavation at the last moment.
