Hunter Dobbins first start (in the rotations, second of the season) didn't start off so well as he allowed 2/3 of the Mets daily allotment of home runs, but the Cardinals offense started off staying strong as they put up three homers of their home to tie things up and eventually take an early lead.
And then Juan Soto happened.
Gorman had another rough day, at the plate, with back to back strikeouts, while Burleson stayed hot and Jimmy Crooks went yard.
