Palm Springs, California has broken the world record for the largest gathering of people dressed as Marilyn Monroe, with 1,037 participants wearing the iconic white dress from the 1955 film The Seven Year Itch. The previous record was held by the Mawson Lakes Jetty Swim Team from Brighton in Adelaide, who gathered 254 Marilyn impersonators in 2020.
