En: Lukáš sat in the classroom and looked out the window.
Sk: Vôňa kvitnúcich lipových stromov prinášala do tried príjemný jarný pocit.
En: The scent of blooming lipové trees brought a pleasant spring feeling into the classroom.
Sk: Bolo skoro leto a všetci študenti cítili napätie blížiacich sa záverečných skúšok.
En: It was almost summer, and all the students felt the tension of the approaching final exams.
Sk: Ale Lukáš mal v hlave niečo viac ako len školské starosti.
En: But Lukáš had more on his mind than just school worries.
Sk: Jeho rodičia prechádzali rozchodom a atmosféra doma bola napätá.

En: After school, when Zuzana was helping Lukáš with his studies, Miroslav, Lukáš's younger brother, walked into the room, visibly upset.
Sk: „Lukáš, mami a tati sa hádali zas,“ povedal Miroslav so strachom v hlase.
En: "Lukáš, mom and dad were arguing again," Miroslav said with fear in his voice.
Sk: Lukáš si sadol k nemu, objal ho a šepkal: „Neboj sa, Miško.
En: Lukáš sat down next to him, hugged him, and whispered, "Don't worry, Miško.
Sk: Sme tu spolu.
En: We're in this together."
Sk: “Pamätal si, že Miroslava trápi celá situácia rovnako ako jeho.
En: He remembered that Miroslav was troubled by the whole situation just as much as he was.
