Description

Dr Warren Farrell is an American educator, activist, and author known for his work on gender issues, particularly men’s and boys’ challenges, as detailed in his book The Boy Crisis (2018). Initially a prominent feminist in the 1970s, he served three terms on the New York City Board of the National Organization for Women (NOW) and was the only man elected to that role. His early feminist advocacy earned him the 1977 National Award for Humanism in Literature from the National Organization for Women, a rare honor for a male feminist. Farrell later shifted focus to men’s issues, authoring influential books like The Myth of Male Power and advocating for a gender liberation movement.Check out Dr Farrell's work: https://warrenfarrell.com/CHAPTERS:00:00 Should we be aiming for unconditional love in our relationships?07:16 Defensiveness ruins relationships…17:29 …but Gen Z are struggling to form relationships in the first place29:22 What lessons can men take from feminism?40:41 My advice to young women45:22 Elliot’s dating paradox49:48 Human beings vs human doings58:02 There needs to be a #MeToo for men1:02:35 If you were President for a day, what would you do?1:04:45 Is it misogynistic to talk about the plummeting birthrate?1:07:22 Elliot reads a moving letter to Dr Farrell1:10:26 What’s next for you?Subscribe to my Substack to support the show and join the community! https://elliotbewick.substack.com/My Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/elliotbewick/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@elliotbewickX: https://x.com/elliotbewickABOUT THE NEXT GENERATION: In a world saturated by social media and marked by skyrocketing rates of anxiety, depression, and ADHD among Gen Z, young people are growing up in a landscape of chaos and contradiction.
