The time is now 5:01 AM in New York, I'm Noa Levi and this is the latest Israel Today: Ongoing War Report.

In Regional Impacts, debris from Iranian drones that were intercepted and destroyed injured an 11-year-old girl in Bahrain, and authorities reported vehicles on fire and damage to homes in Hamad Town and the capital Manama as debris fell. A military source said several fragments fell and that engineering units discarded the remnants after checking them for explosive materials; no additional injuries or damage were reported. Iranian missiles continued to rain periodically through the Middle East and Gulf regions, with Jordan's Royal Air Force and air defense systems intercepting 20 missiles in Jordanian airspace, according to the Jordan News Agency. Iranian officials claimed that an American projectile struck a cargo ship destined for Iran, five miles from the port of Khasab in Oman; the 150-ton barge reportedly had five crew members who were rescued and transferred to Oman. Separately, an IRGC commander warned that the region would be turned into hell if the Strait of Hormuz were destabilized, saying the response would be across the region from Iran. IRGC Aerospace Force Chief Brigadier-General Majid Mousavi told state media, “Will you make the sacred Strait of Hormuz unsafe? We will turn the entire region into hell for you from across Iran,” in a direct reply to recent US strikes. Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters announced the Strait would be completely closed to all ships, while CENTCOM denied that closure and said commercial ships are continuing to transit, with Iran later disputing that claim. CENTCOM said it carried out self-defense strikes against multiple targets in Iran, and Iran disputed the claim.

In the Conflict with Iran and its Regional Proxies, a Toronto activist group called Al-Ahrar Palestinian Prisoner Support urged the United States to release Mohammad Baqer Saad Dawood Al-Saadi, a commander in Kataib Hezbollah, who had been extradited and charged by the US Department of Justice on May 15 for various terrorism offenses related to 18 attacks. The Canada-based group described his actions as part of a struggle against imperialism and urged activists and organizations to oppose what it called the criminalization of his role, framing him as a figure in broader regional resistance.

In Antisemitism and Anti-Jewish Hate, Columbia University anti-Israel student activist Mohsen Mahdawi appealed an immigration court order to deport him to Jordan, following his arrest last April for undermining US foreign policy and government counter-antisemitism efforts with his pro-Palestinian campus activism. The ACLU and other legal representatives appealed to the First Circuit US Court of Appeals, and they have petitioned the Second Circuit, where his habeas petition is being considered. Mahdawi argued that detention and censorship were punitive and served no legitimate purpose, saying that government actions use immigration policy to silence him for speaking about Palestinian suffering and genocide.

In Israeli Economy and Business, ILA Berlin 2026 opened under the shadow of war with Iran, with more than a dozen Israeli defense companies taking part in Europe’s aviation and defense exhibition. The event, running June 10-14, 2026, hosts more than 750 exhibitors from 37 countries, with 15 Israeli companies participating and pitching battle-proven systems to buyers seeking to boost defense capabilities. The participating companies span aerospace and space systems, air defense, unmanned platforms and counter-UAS solutions, radar and electronic warfare, AI-driven command, control, and situational awareness, and advanced homeland security. In addition to Israel Aerospace Industries, Elbit Systems,
