Last week it was the Grundy Express coming to a halt, and in Round 13 it was the Red Hot Xerri Pie instead becoming a dropped pie, as he dished up a putrid score of 43.

You know when you bite into a pie and much down on a tough bit of gristle? That’s exactly what it was like. I’ve had that happen a couple of times and I’ve almost projectile vomited at the speed of light, but instead sworn myself off eating Pies for a good while.

Well, I wish I had that option of abstaining from Xerri in my team until further notice with that score, but I can’t afford to waste a trade. Is there a SC refund option, by any chance? My lord, as if the byes weren’t hard enough to navigate.

But one of the more promising things to come out of that round was the performance of Crows mid-season rookie draftee in Shao Kahan AKA Hall-Kahan producing a juicy 72 first up. AND it came after he copped a massive hit that smashed his nose almost clean off his face, and yet he still came back onfield to help the Crows to victory.

And on the theme of Mortal Kombat, you could almost call it a… FLAWLESS VICTORY!
