[המשך] עוררו לפנ"ז שלפני קבלת החלטה חדשה יש לעשות חשבון צדק אם קיימו בפועל ההחלטה שלפנ"ז. ואי"ז "חשד" בעלמא, אלא הי' בזה "מעשה מבהיל" בפועל! באה"ק: לפני כמה שנים הגיעו כמה רבנים מארה"ב לביקור באה"ק בכ"מ וכו' ופירסמו החלטה לדאוג להתקנת מזוזות במקומות המחוייבים וכו'. כבר עברו כמה שנים מאז שחזרו לארה"ב ועד היום הזה לא ניתוסף אפי' מזוזה א' על יסוד החלטה זו! בחו"ל: לפני כמה שנים פירסם ועד מסויים החלטה לבנות מקוואות לנשים וכו'. כששאלתי בעבור שנתיים איפה המקוואות? – הצביעו על מקווה א' שהתחילו לבנות ועדיין לא סיימו! וכאמר, לא רוצים לפגוע באף א' ח"ו, אלא רק לעורר על מה שכבר כתוב בספרים וכו', וכולי האי ואולי יתקנו הדבר, ומכאן ולהבא ידאגו שההחלטות יבואו לידי מעשה בפועל, עד ל"חוצה", ובפרט שעכשיו רואים שה"חוצה" כבר אינו מנגד ח"ו למזוזות ולמקוואות וכו'.

(Continued.) The issue was previously raised that before adopting a new resolution, an honest accounting should be made to see whether the previous resolution was actually carried out in practice. This concern is evident from two incidents that happened: Several years ago a number of rabbonim from the United States were on a visit to Eretz Yisroel, and they publicly announced a decision to affix mezuzos in places obligated to have them etc. Several years have passed since then, and to this day not a single mezuzah was added as a result of that decision. In another incident, a committee was formed and it was publicly announced that they were going to build mikvaos for women. Two years later when I asked about the status of the mikvaos, they could point to only one mikveh – whose construction had begun before the committee was established, and which still had not been completed. As mentioned, the intention is not hurt anyone chas v’shalom, but only to bring attention to something that already appears in seforim. Maybe in this way the issue will be corrected, and from now on people will make sure the resolutions are carried out in practice, and in a way that extends even to the “outside” – especially being that nowadays we see that the “outside” no longer opposes mezuzos and mikvaos etc.
