Twenty-nine pro-Palestine protesters are scheduled to appear in court following a February rally in Sydney against Israeli President Isaac Herzog that turned violent. The protesters clashed with police, resulting in charges of assault and resistance. The NSW government has also formally admitted that Greens MP Jenny Leong was unlawfully punched in the face at a separate pro-Palestine rally in June last year.
