The big news that broke Tuesday was that one of the game's top prospects, Braden Montgomery, was being promoted to the White Sox to man the outfield in Chicago's game against the Braves. Montgomery is, of course, a player who was taken 12th overall in the 2024 MLB Draft, while also gaining notoriety as part of the trade that sent Garrett Crochet to the Red Sox.
