Description
James Dalamangas, one of Australia's most wanted men, has appeared in court in Greece after 27 years on the run, accused of stabbing George Giannopolous to death in a Belmore nightclub in 1999. The Greek citizen is fighting extradition to Australia and may avoid charges if he remains in Greece, where the statute of limitations for murder expires after 25 years. Greek police found him living under the alias Antonis Tzimas as an olive grove farmer with dozens of Rottweilers.
