Af: In die middel van 'n koue, reënerige middag in Stellenbosch, drup-druppende reën teen die vensters van die gesellige koffiewinkel waar Johan, die boekwinkel-eienaar, aan sy derde koppie koffie teug.
En: In the middle of a cold, rainy afternoon in Stellenbosch, raindrops trickled against the windows of the cozy coffee shop where Johan, the bookstore owner, sipped his third cup of coffee.
Af: Die winkel was nie net vol die aroma van vars gemaalde koffie en gebak nie, maar ook met die gedempte murmure van mense wat met mekaar gesels.
En: The shop was filled not just with the aroma of freshly ground coffee and pastries but also with the muffled murmurs of people chatting with one another.
