Omoggle app rates children's faces with strangers
Published 2 weeks, 2 days ago
Description
Omoggle is an anonymous chatting platform that pairs random strangers in competitions where AI scans faces and assigns scores based on appearance using the PSL (perceived sexual market value) scale. Despite claiming to be for users over 18, the site has no legitimate age verification, allowing children easy access to a platform where they're rated on facial features and exposed to strangers. The website, popularised by major streaming personalities, uses the 'looksmaxxing' movement's criteria of facial symmetry, averageness, harmony and skin quality to determine winners, raising serious concerns about child safety, self-esteem damage and potential grooming risks.
