Motorbike rider dies at Finke Desert Race

Description
A motorbike rider has died during the first day of the Finke Desert Race in Central Australia. The competitor died on the off-road course from Alice Springs to Apatula on Sunday afternoon, with paramedics unable to revive him at the scene. This is the second fatality at the event following a spectator death in 2021.
