The average person is talking to God through a closed door for 3.6 minutes a day. Brad Cummings explains what happens when you finally open it.

Scott Kesterson and Brad Cummings return for Part 2 of their deep dive into Pentecost, pressing further into what the indwelling of the Holy Spirit actually means for daily life — and why most believers are living far below what God has made available. Brad draws on Romans 8, Hebrews, Luke 12, Daniel 7, Deuteronomy 29, and Acts 8 to build a connected case: that God's consuming fire is not punishment but refining transformation, that faith is a response to the living voice of Christ rather than a self-generated choice, and that the baptism of the Holy Spirit exists primarily to conform believers into the image of Christ — not to produce spiritual spectacle. The conversation moves through the story of Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch as a model of Holy Spirit-led availability, the Sinai covenant as the prototype of Pentecost, and the sobering statistic that the average American spends 3.6 minutes a day with God against seven hours in front of a screen — 50 to 60 percent of it anxiety-driven content about money and food. The episode closes with Brad's argument that discipline and disciple share the same root for a reason: transformation requires the fire, and the only question is whether you choose it now or later.

• What is the baptism of the Holy Spirit actually for — and why does speaking in tongues miss the point?
• How does faith come by hearing, and what does hardening your heart really mean in practice?
• Why does God use ordinary, unnamed nobodies to advance His kingdom rather than the best and brightest?
• What is the baptism of fire — and is the lake of fire punishment or the final refining of all creation?
• How does spending only 3.6 minutes a day with God explain the current state of the church and the nation?
