Cy: Amrediad o tŷ bachog, teithiwyd gyda blodau ysblennydd a thai carreg hudolus, gosod roedd cyrion cyffrous o gartref hyfryd ym Mae Caerdydd.
En: A range of quaint cottages, adorned with magnificent flowers and enchanted stone houses, set the exciting boundaries of a lovely home in Cardiff Bay.
Cy: Roedd yr awyr yn llawn sŵn plant yn chwarae a'r persawr o rosod yn troi gyda'r adleisio o haf.
En: The air was filled with the sound of children playing and the scent of roses mingling with the echoes of summer.
Cy: Roedd Dafydd yn sibryd un wrth ei hun, ei wyneb llawn pryder a llawenydd.
En: Dafydd whispered to himself, his face full of worry and joy.
Cy: Roedd eisiau i'r parti gardd yr haf fod mor berffaith â bosibl.
En: He wanted the summer garden party to be as perfect as possible.
Cy: Roedd pob manylyn, o’r goleuadau llochr, y byns uniaith Gymreig, a’r caws Caerffili, wedi eu hasio i’w gynllun.
En: Every detail, from the lantern lights, the traditional Welsh buns, to the Caerphilly cheese, had been carefully woven into his plan.
Cy: Ymddangosodd Carys gyda llyfr cookin yn ei dwylo.
En: Carys appeared with a cookbook in her hands.
Cy: "Beth wyt ti'n poeni amdano?" gofynnodd.
En: "What are you worrying about?" she asked.
Cy: "Bydd popeth yn ardderchog."
En: "Everything will be wonderful."

En: Dafydd chuckled, but a disappointed look was on his face.
Cy: "Mae Emlyn," meddai, "wedi dweud y gallai rhaid i rai o'r teulu roi'r gorau iddi oherwydd... wel, dweud y gwir, anghytundeb bach."
En: "It's Emlyn," he said, "who mentioned that some of the family might have to drop out because... well, to be honest, a slight disagreement."
Cy: Dywedodd Carys ddisymud, "Gad inni gynnal yr hyn a allwn ni. Bydd pawb yn mwynhau. Gallwn ni wneud hyn."
En: Carys replied calmly, "Let us hold what we can. Everyone will enjoy it. We can do this."
Cy: Ar dudwen gorffwys Emlyn, roedd ei lygaid yn cau, gwrthiant rhwng angenst a chyffro.
En: Under the elder tree rested Emlyn, his eyes closing, a struggle between anxiety and excitement.
Cy: Ond, datblygu wnaeth yr awyr i gymylog.
En: But, the sky began to cloud over.
Cy: Roedd y tymor haf yn ansefydlog fel bob tro ond roedd addo.
En: The summer season was as unstable as ever yet promising.
Cy: Ynghanol hyn, y mwyaf i’w llusgo nôl yw syniad i Ddafydd: Cario’r parti y tu fewn, neu ddal ati y tu allan.
En: Amidst this, the biggest pullback for Dafydd was the idea: to move the party inside or to hold it outside.
Cy: Er gwaethaf y godi darlun, cymerodd benderfyniad.
En: Despite the uncertainty, a decision was made.
Cy: "Brysiwch!" dweudodd dros yr awyr, "Rhowch y pabell wrth law!"
En: "Hurry!" he shouted across the air, "Put up the tent at the ready!"
Cy: Wrth i deuluoedd ddod, cafodd popeth ei newid.
En: As families arrived, everything changed.
Cy: Roedd pethau’n dechrau rhyddio, trafodion!
En: Things started to loosen, conversations blossomed!
Cy: A rogli gorffwylliad — ond sgwrs wresog oedd geiriau Dafydd.
En: And the scent of merriment — but it was Dafydd's warm words that stood out.
Cy: "Nid felly yr wyneb nôl, ond i’r lwc a heddwch yr hyn y dan ni gyda’i gilydd," cyhoeddi.
