Loving God,

help us not give in to our despair.
When there’s no sign things are going to get better soon,
give us the strength to carry on.
When the future feels ominous,
help us trust that you are still present, still with us.
Remind us that just as dawn follows every night and the spring rains bring new life to the earth,
your steadfast love will bring restoration and redemption.
Give us the determination to press on until we see that day come to be.
