As he approaches his 84th birthday on June 18, Paul McCartney says he has no intention of retiring from music. In an interview with NME, the former Beatle recalled being asked about retirement when he turned 50 and said the idea never appealed to him. McCartney remains active creatively and recently released his latest album, The Boys of Dungeon Lane, continuing a career that has spanned more than six decades.
