En: On Karlův most, crowds of tourists flowed.
Cs: Slunce se odráželo na hladině Vltavy a celé město se probouzelo do jarního dne.
En: The sun reflected on the surface of the Vltava and the whole city was waking up to a spring day.
Cs: Petr, středně věkem poznamenaný umělec, seděl na lavičce a pozoroval ruch okolo sebe.
En: Petr, a middle-aged artist, sat on a bench and observed the hustle and bustle around him.
Cs: Přestože miloval Prahu ze všech svých sil, v mysli měl dnes těžké myšlenky.
En: Although he loved Praha with all his might, today heavy thoughts were on his mind.
Cs: Naposledy se mu několikrát zatočila hlava a teď se bál o své zdraví.
