Associate Professor in the UCI Department of Cognitive Sciences. She is also a Cooperating Researcher in the Department of Decoded Neurofeedback at Advanced Telecommunications Research Institute International in Kyoto, Japan, and a Fellow in the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research Brain, Mind, & Consciousness program. Prior to joining UCI she was an Assistant Professor at UC Riverside in the Department of Bioengineering. She received Her Ph.D. in computational cognitive neuroscience (psychology) from UCLA, having worked with Ladan Shams, and then was a postdoc there working with Hakwan Lau.
