Sl: Matej je stal ob svojem pisalniku, obdan s kupa papirjev.
En: Matej stood by his desk, surrounded by piles of papers.

Sl: Z muko je pregledoval številke.
En: With difficulty, he reviewed the numbers.

Sl: Njegove misli so bile ujeti v neskončnem vrtincu dela.
En: His thoughts were caught in an endless vortex of work.

Sl: Neža, svetla in brezskrbna prijateljica, je opazila njegov utrujen obraz.
En: Neža, his bright and carefree friend, noticed his tired face.

Sl: Zaskrbljeno ga je pogledala.
En: She looked at him with concern.

Sl: "Matej," je rekla Neža, "moraš ven, na zrak.
En: "Matej," said Neža, "you need to go outside, get some air.

Sl: Pojdiva na izlet.
