Watters Garden Center and The Daily Courier partnered earlier this year to encourage gardeners to plant 250 trees for America’s 250th anniversary. The partnership has been very successful, with people planting trees in their own yards and donating them to plant at local schools. Each tree comes with a commemorative medallion.
