Drinking With Authors | Featuring Shayne Nicholai

Guest: Shayne Nicholai is a firm believer that pineapple -does- go on pizza; he’s lost lawn-mowing privileges at our house with the ride-on mower; and have an associate’s degree in audio engineering and veterinary technology. Author of Life Undecided.

Drink of Choice: Coffee or flavored water ☕

Shayne is a queer, disabled poet whose writing addresses mental health - verbally illustrating the struggles of mental illness as a queer individual.

On May 29th, I'm speaking at a middle school career fair about using creativity to build healthy coping skills in order to help deal with the increasing mental health struggles in today's societies - especially as a member of the queer community. I'll have a table set up in the gymnasium to answer questions about self-publishing and to encourage young writers to use their voices to open new doors of opportunity for them.

Join Nick Savage, award-winning author and host of Drinking with Authors, for a fireside-style conversation with Shayne Nicholai.
