Ahmed Al Ahmed, the 44-year-old Sydney tobacconist recognised for disarming a gunman during the Bondi terror attack, has been charged with allegedly assaulting his elderly father by placing him in a headlock at a Bankstown home in March. He is scheduled to appear in court at the end of July, while separate legal proceedings continue against his brothers who are accused of attempting to extort him over publicly donated funds.
