Gas tanker explodes in massive fireball in Mexico

A gas tanker allegedly transporting illegal fuel exploded in an enormous fireball near the town of Tepeaca, Mexico, on Thursday morning around 10am local time. The explosion sent plumes of thick smoke into the sky, prompting evacuations of nearby homes, schools and a hospital. Investigations into the incident are continuing, with the number of injuries currently unclear.
