Nicholas Galitzine’s Dual Role Challenge
Description
Nicholas Galitzine turned his body into a superhero’s dream — packing on serious muscle for his ripped He-Man role — but also had to play Prince Adam, the awkward, underdog version of the same guy. The physical contrast was wild: one character was a godlike warrior, the other a slumped, relatable goof. Galitzine trained with movement coaches to nail Adam’s posture and found the character’s humor and emotional range more fun to play than He-Man’s stoic intensity. On set, he battled not just the camera, but also some seriously huge co-stars — including Hafþór Björnsson — and admitted he missed Adam’s charm after days of lifting. Now, he’s shifting gears to shoot the sequel to “Red, White & Royal Blue,” where he’s taking a break from the gym — and even had to stop bulking up for a 1940s period film, as the director warned he’d look out of place.
