According to data from a Generation Lab survey targeting young Americans, the vast majority (81%) view the current economy as bad or terrible, directing their frustration toward a few specific entities:

Primary Targets of Blame
- President Donald Trump: Among young adults aged 18–24, more than 4 in 10 (41%) place the primary blame on the president. For those aged 25–29, roughly one-third (33%) hold him responsible.
- Corporate Greed & Large Companies: Large corporations are the second largest target. Roughly one-third of young adults across both the 18–24 and 25–29 age groups fault corporate greed and skyrocketing prices for their financial strain
