-Texas senator Ted Cruz and Washington senator Maria Cantwell drafted the bill called the “Protect College Sports Act,” which would

provide the NCAA with an antitrust exemption to enforce several rules that have been recently challenged in court, including limiting

transfers and athlete eligibility; and prohibiting schools from poaching a coach during the season

-The legislation has received support from the Big 12 and ACC, but not from the B1G and SEC—who say that the idea of pooling media

rights will not provide a financial windfall that proponents success…there’s a lot to get to here…who is right and is it clear?
