Cs: Karel stál před vchodem do obchodu na námořní základně v Norfolku.
En: Karel stood in front of the entrance to the store at the naval base in Norfolk.
Cs: Vzduch byl vonný po jarním dešti, který osvěžoval stromy kolem základny.
En: The air was fragrant with spring rain, refreshing the trees around the base.
Cs: Karel, oblečený ve své námořnické uniformě, se zhluboka nadechl.
En: Karel, dressed in his sailor uniform, took a deep breath.
Cs: Dnes měl důležitý úkol – koupit zásoby na dlouhou plavbu a najít něco, co mu připomene domov v Česku.
En: Today, he had an important task—to buy supplies for the long voyage and find something that would remind him of home in Czechia.
Cs: Uvnitř komisaře byla spousta lidí.
