“Send Coach John a message”

I found a powerful reminder that I know I need to take with me every day and I also know, FOR SURE, that others need to remember this too. It comes from Gary Hensel (@gary_hensel) and it is this:  “Blowing out someone else’s candle doesn’t make yours shine any brighter.” We have way too much of people blowing out others’ candles thinking that it’s ok, and also that it means they are successful. Many that keep doing it also think it means they are a good person for others to follow - in business, religion, etc. It’s total nonsense my friends. The thing is - I need to make sure that I’m not blowing out anyone’s candles - I want to be the one to help them light them.
