Vivid Sydney has launched Sky Symphony, a new laser light and fireworks show at Cockle Bay, after a technical failure caused 83 drones to plummet into Sydney Harbour during the festival's drone show. The replacement attraction features over 2,500 fireworks combined with Australia's largest outdoor laser show, running three nights per week until 13 June. Festival organisers remain confident of achieving record-breaking attendance of 2.5 million visitors despite the mid-air disaster.
