Description

Trending today: new financial data reveal that 73 U.S. Senators are millionaires – which means 27 are not, which kinda feels like a lot. (The same numbers suggest members of Congress also have quite a lot of student debt, which is also pretty surprising. Politicians: they’re just like us?) Aaron and Victor discuss the various reasons why it’s difficult to get elected to Congress without being crazy rich in the first place; there are maybe ways to avoid that problem, but those strategies inevitably create other problems in the process. (Also: an asteroid explodes over Ohio.)
