En: Under the blue sky of late spring, Nika, Matej, and Zala arrived at Bled.
En: The lake glistened in the sun, as if covered in silver.

En: Nika quickly felt a bit of initial nervousness.
Sl: "Saj bo dobro," si je govorila.
En: "It'll be alright," she told herself.
En: Matej, with his ever-present smile, broke the silence: "Who’s up for some hiking?"
En: Zala nodded: "A welcome change from the office."
Sl: Vzeli so pot proti hribu Ojstrica.
En: They took the path toward Ojstrica hill.
Sl: Zrak je dišal po cvetočih travnikih.
En: The air smelled of blooming meadows.
Sl: Matej je nenehno delal šale, in čeprav so včasih zgrešile, jih je vsem topil led.
En: Matej was constantly cracking jokes, and even if they sometimes missed the mark, they melted the ice for everyone.
En: Nika wished she could easily converse like him, but she found it difficult to express her thoughts.
Sl: Zala je korakala naprej, premišljena in premišljena.
En: Zala walked ahead, thoughtful and contemplative.
Sl: Ko so dosegli razcep poti, so se pričele nesoglasja.
En: When they reached a fork in the path, disagreements began.
En: "Shall we go to the top or around the lake?" asked Zala.
En: Matej grabbed Nika's map, which pointed to another path, and said, "How about we try exploring?"
En: With newfound confidence, Nika said, "What if we split up? Each go their own way and meet up at the viewpoint above the lake? That way, we'll all have some space to reflect."
Sl: Matej in Zala sta malce nejeverno pogledala drug drugega, a nato privolila.
En: Matej and Zala exchanged skeptical glances but then agreed.
Sl: Vseeno je ideja zvenela razburljivo.
En: After all, the idea sounded exciting.
Sl: Lahko so si vzeli čas.
En: They could take their time.
Sl: Nika jim je zaželela srečo in krenili so po svojih poteh.
En: Nika wished them luck, and they set off on their separate paths.
En: When Nika arrived at the viewpoint over Lake Bled, she was alone.
En: The lake shimmered below like a mirrored surface.
Sl: Dotaknila se je klopce in našla zložljivo noto.
En: She touched the bench and found a folded note.
Sl: Odprla jo je - Zala ji je napisala nekaj preprostih besed
