לנשים ובנות ניתנה שליחות מיוחדת בענין החינוך מפני התכונה של קירוב ורוך שבהן שנדרש לעבודת החינוך שצריכה להיות מתוך קירוב – "ימין מקרבת" (ורק לאחר מכן אפשר לחשוב אודות הגישה של "שמאל דוחה", כדי לשחרר את המחונך מתכונות בלתי-רצויות ש"נדבק" מבחוץ, כדבר זמני). מכיון שבודאי יש לכל בת בישראל רגש נשמתי-פנימי לזכות לבנות בית משלה מבורך בבנים ובנות – הרי בעודה ילדה, ועאכו"כ כשהיא מתבגרת, עלי' לחנך את עצמה, כך שבבוא הזמן תהי' "דוגמא חי'" ומאירה לילדי'; הזדמנות מיוחדת להתעסק בחינוך הוא בימי הקיץ כאשר ילדים מקבלים הרבה זמן פנוי – שאין להניח את הילד במצב של זמן ריק מכל תוכן, אלא יש למלא זמן זה בתוכן אמיתי, וניתן לעשות זאת (גם כאשר אי"ז זמן של לימודים מתוך ספרי לימוד וכו') ע"י סיפורים עם תוכן חסידי או משחקים שבהם מדגישים את ענין העזרה לזולת וכיו"ב. ולעשות כ"ז בדרכי נועם, מתוך קירוב ורוך.

Women and girls have been given a special mission in the field of education, because it is their nature to be gentle and to draw near, are essential qualities for education (which must be conducted primarily with “the right hand that draws near”; only after using the right hand may one consider using “the left hand that pushes away” in order to rid the student of undesirable traits). Because every Jewish girl desires to merit to build her own home and to be blessed with children of her own whom she will educate etc., it follows that even from a young age (and all the more so when she grows older), she must educate herself so that when the time comes, she will be a living, shining example for her children. A special educational opportunity arises during the summer, when children have a great deal of free time. One must make sure that a child’s time is not left empty; rather, the time must be filled with meaning which can be accomplished (even during the summer, when the children are not studying from textbooks in school etc.) through Chassidic stories, or games that emphasize helping others and the like. All of this should be done in a pleasant way and with warmth and gentleness.
