A Prayer for When It Is Time to Move Forward
Loving God,
When we know there is something more for us, but we are reluctant to let go because we are comfortable where we are,
give us courage.
When the familiar feels safer than the unknown,
give us wisdom.
When we cannot yet see where the path ahead will lead,
help us trust that everything that needs to become clear to us will become clear in time.
Help us recognize what to bring with us and what to leave behind.
Help us move forward with gratitude for what has brought us this far, without clinging to what we are being called to leave behind.
Amen.
