Description
This is a panel discussion with our guests: Bill Curry, Robert Hennely, Laura Jedeed, Stephen Pimpare
Part 1:
We talk about the people who desire to leave the US. The numbers are higher than in previous years, and women are more likely to want to leave.
We discuss the actions of ICE at Delaney Hall, in NJ. The private prison run by the GEO Group is refusing oversight by local officials. Those incarcerated now are on hunger strikes and striking against mandatory forced labor.
So far 17,500 people have been deported to countries other than their country of origin, often into civil wars and pandemics.
We discuss the pushback to the use of AI
Part 2:
We discuss Trump's push of the DOJ to investigate E.Jean Carroll, to whom he owes $86Million as a result of the sexual abuse suit she proved against him.
We discuss how quickly fascism has spread in the US.
We also discuss the "Thunderdome" style cage match to be held on the south lawn of the White House. It should be noted that the administration has asked for millions of dollars from individuals for spectator seats at the match. In addition, military service members are being encouraged to attend, with conditions for their "attractiveness'.
