Mass Fatality Resilience Capability-Lot 2 https://www.contractsfinder.service.gov.uk/Notice/6bc9c974-d864-4f8f-9d02-024c03ea6d49 In the event of a major incident resulting in a large number of fatalities which could overwhelm existing body storage capacity the Home Office would provide contingency support to the requesting local authority. Our core requirement of storage for up to 700 fatalities across three phases Soft Shell Minimum call-off storage of 100 fatalities Deployable within twenty-four hours. Hard Shell They should provide storage of up to 150 of the deceased (including bariatric). Delivery and assembly should take no longer than three days. Temporary Building Alternative building/ structure They should allow both refrigeration and freezing. At least 450 fatalities including bariatric and/ or fragmented fatalities. (deaths caused by flying debris or fragments, or sites here and there) This will need to be deployed within 5 days.
