2 Samuel 5-6 - The Holiness of God
Season 19
Episode 232
Published 4 months, 2 weeks ago
Description
Why does God’s holiness demand more from us than good intentions? In 2 Samuel 5–6, Pastor Paul shows how David’s rise as king and the return of the ark reveal a God who is near yet utterly holy. Listeners will see why David’s victories came from abiding in the Lord, how Uzzah’s death exposed Israel’s neglect of God’s Word, and how obedience brings blessing while presumption brings danger. This passage invites us to approach God with reverence, gratitude for Christ’s sacrifice, and a renewed desire to walk closely with Him.
