First,  a look at this day in History.

Then, The Great Gildersleeve starring Harold Peary, originally broadcast  May 30, 1943, 83 years ago, Memorial Day Parade.   After the Memorial Day parade, Gildersleeve decides to write his will.

Followed by the Harold Peary Show, originally broadcast May 30, 1951, 75 years ago, Harold is Marshall for a Day.  Harold is appointed Marshal for a day.

Then, The Chase and Sanborn Hour, originally broadcast May 30, 1937, 89 years ago.  Josephine Hutchinson and Don Ameche do a scene from "The Dark Angel," a heart wrenching story about a blind man who tries to sacrifice his love. W.C. Fields and Charlie McCarthy feud.

Finally, Lum and Abner, originally broadcast May 30, 1941, 85 years ago, Memorial Day.  Lum and Abner chat after Lum delivered his two-hour Memorial Day address. Grandpappy Spears and Grandpappy Masters recall the Civil War.
