Did you ever play “T-Ball” as a kid? If so, it was probably fairly safe and easy. Because the teams you played against were at approximately the same skill level. But imagine you’re a six-year-old T-Baller, and the opposing team that shows up is a Major League baseball team. How would you feel? Today, Pastor John points out how you can come up against an opponent you never want to face: God. All you have to do is be “proud.” Because God opposes the proud, and gives grace to the humble.
