GM Kelly McCrimmon defending his firing of Bruce Cassidy and the hiring of John Tortorella late in the season.  McCrimmon, in an NHL.com interview said the Golden Knights were sinking from first to third place and could have been slumping out of the playoffs entirely, so he had to make a change.
