Published 1 week, 3 days ago
Description
On today’s show, host Bert Zipperer is in conversation with Elie Mystal, The Nation’s justice correspondent and columnist, about the Supreme Court’s recent decision in Louisiana v. Callais that undermines the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Mystal says the “most important legislation in US history” that ended 100 years of apartheid is now “effectively dead.”
