Sometimes we become so divided
that we don’t know how to speak to each other.
We stop listening.
We stop trying to understand.
We stop trying to connect.
And after a while,
peace itself begins to feel impossible.
But we have been encouraged
not to give up.
To keep seeking
restored relationships
and reconciliation.
To keep learning
how to live well together
despite all our differences.
We are not the same.
But the love we share
has to become greater
than the differences that divide us.
