In this homily, I reflect on how easy it is to take our Catholic faith for granted. St. Peter reminds his community — and us — that the prophets longed for what we already have. Jesus promises a hundredfold return to those who give up everything for the gospel. As we enter Ordinary Time, I invite you to rediscover the extraordinary gift of the faith — and to live it with the joy of St. Philip Neri, so that others may be drawn to the Church.
