The Phillies have made another change at the top.
Phillies interim manager Don Mattingly dropped Trea Turner from the leadoff spot before Tuesday night’s 4-3 victory over San Diego at Petco Park. He flipped Turner and Kyle Schwarber in the 1-2 spots. Turner homered. Maybe it’s the start of something.
The Phillies’ right-handed batters have been terrible this year, so they need something to happen quickly. We talk about those struggles, plus look at some right-handed bats to target at the trade deadline. Mike Trout? Christian Walker?
