Back to EpisodesA Spotlight on the Scriptures: Psalms 2:7-8: Bow Now While Mercy Still Flows
Description
This is a Spotlight on the Scriptures: Psalms 2:7-8 I will tell of the decree: The LORD said to me, “You are my Son; today I have begotten you. Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession.
Only King Jesus—no rival, no equal—will inherit the nations when he reigns in the millennial glory. Not Rome. Not Babylon. Not America. Not China. No empire, no army, no government will be able to stand when the Lion of Judah roars and the skies split with his power. He’s not coming back as a lamb—he’s coming as a warrior King, crowned in majesty, clothed in fire, riding on clouds.
And rebellion? Foolish. Futile. Laughable. To resist the reign of the Messiah is like an ant trying to body slam an elephant. It’s not a fight—it’s a fantasy. So, bow now, while mercy is still flowing. Because when Jesus comes in glory, every knee will bend, every tongue will confess, and every nation will know: the King has come, and his kingdom cannot be shaken.
