15 Clare Cyclists Seriously Injured In RTCS Between 2021-2025
Published 2 weeks, 1 day ago
Description
New figures from the Road Safety Authority show that 15 cyclists in Clare were seriously injured in road traffic collisions between 2021 and 2025.
That represents just 1% of the national total of 1,324 serious cyclist injuries recorded over the same period.
The RSA says the findings form part of a wider report into cyclist safety, alongside the launch of a new national survey aimed at better understanding the circumstances behind cycling collisions across Ireland.
For more on this, Daragh Dolan was joined by cyclist, Ciarán Tiernan and Mayor of Clare, Paul Murphy.
