Description
You know those days when your plans to work out fall apart? (Or you plans for anything, really). This 1 mile walk is about having a backup plan, so one messy day does not turn into a full “well, I guess I live on crackers now” situation.
This is a guided walking workout that you can do outside or indoors on a treadmill or walking pad.
As we walk we’ll chat about:
- Staying (somewhat) consistent with exercise even when your day gets busy
- Finding what really works for you, your life, and your schedule (like if 5am workouts aren’t your thing)
- Creating a simple backup plan that helps you stay on track
- How to stop waiting for the perfect time to exercise, because there is no perfect day or time (gasp!)
- Remembering that something really is better than nothing (always)
And (drumroll) you’ll get a brisk 1 mile walk with about 2000 steps in. Background walking music, too.
And because I always drift, I…
- Share some ridiculous stories to keep you distracted
- Admit I have been saying “I do myself” since I was two
- Ask if you’re an Amy or Captain Holt from Brooklyn Nine-Nine? Or a Helen?
- Talk about walking tours in Europe and why I always took my “reward” first instead of “eating the frog”
- Tell you about trying to do crunches while nursing a baby, because motherhood is… different.
- Confess my love of crackers
If you need a way to fit in movement when your schedule goes sideways… lace up your shoes and come for a walk.
