Af: Donker wolke het stadig oor die horison gerol, soos 'n dreigende reus wat sy skadu oor die Cradle of Humankind gooi.
En: Dark clouds slowly rolled over the horizon, like a threatening giant casting its shadow over the Cradle of Humankind.
Af: Die herfs het 'n koel briesie saamgebring wat langs die klowe gesweef het en die blare roesbruin getooi.
En: Autumn had brought a cool breeze that swept through the ravines and turned the leaves a rust-brown.
